Never did we have that many Allies holding Space Stations before. Well done! Predator are the biggest winner and got themselves 12 more space station as last week. With 32 space stations they are still holding the number one slot safe and secure. FAiRLiGHT did well as well and got themselves 12 space stations, making them the number one Earthbound ally. Muellmann GmbH are stable with 10 space stations and River Connection stocked from four to nine stations. Clan Siedler had some heavy losses and now have nine stations left. Evolution is now totally on the way down. This week again they lost a ton of space station and also are holding now nine stations only. Rumour has it that they might be going down the same road as FairTrade once did. die-besten lost some stations as well and are now down to eight. Deadly Defence is stable with seven and Commonwealth got one more as last week and are up to five now, which Star-Ship Troopers also have, but they lost three. Auro did loose 4 stations but for that THE PROMISED LAND got themselves two space stations. Nice to see THE PROMISED LAND active in the SSS. Free Fighter also went active for the first time and successfully got themselves two stations. Well done. Blood Dragons and Resistance manages to hold on to their stations from last wee. Parsec Crew nearly got themselves a station, but after already having fought and successfully defended against FAiRLiGHT, it was not possible anymore to hold the station as Deadly Defence then came.

With 67 (Earthbound) to 48 (Roamer) stations looks the balance a lot healthier already. But will this stay this way? Who is going to rule next week? We just have to wait and see...

Is it Christmas already? Well for us it is. Here now the Update Notes:
Christmasspecial:
• Name: Hunt for the Christmas Pirates!
• Duration: From Today to the 13.January 2008.
• Story: Pirates, like we all know them to be, have stolen all Christmas tree Baubles from the whole universe, for their own Christmas trees.
• Mission: Get them back and save Christmas! Every Pirate has a chance of dropping them.
• Target: Collect the most Christmas tree Baubles from all players.
• Prize: 3.Prize: 6000 Premium-Points, 2.Prize: 9000 Premium-Points, 1.Prize: 12000 Premium-Points
• High score: We have a new Christmas tree Bauble Collection High score list. Top 50 Collectors will be shown. This is a static High score list.
• Other: The drop rate formula is so, that small players have the same chance as big players.
UI:
• The Aetu Server button is now bigger and flashes red. A tooltip informs: To the game!
• The ally lead and ally admins can now see in the member list a new tooltip, informing them when the member has logged in the last time.
• The ally icon in the main bar now flashes red when a new post in the ally forum has been made.
• When ally spacestation defenders are being attacked, the ally lead and all ally admins will get a entry in their fight log.
• The XP Level of a player is now shown in the player profile.
• New player that do not have the browser set to German, will automatically enter the Parsec_English Channel. The Parsec_Aetu chanel is still an international channel though.
• The quotes are now showing at the bottom of the Parsec Log In Page. Quotes will change at random.
• The first steps window need to be scrolled down to the end, to be able to close it.
• A Delete All Button for mail and fight log is now implemented.
• The favourites are now also showing the galaxy name next to the planet name and in case of a space station, the space station name is taken.
• Kills in the player profile are now separated by faction. Meaning of course Roamer, Earthbound and Pirates.
• The technology window now shows better what you will be getting with your next level up.
• When you scroll the action window down and then start pre-clicking your action, the window will scroll to the current action your are pre-clicking
• You can now change language ingame (DE/EN).
• Small Help file adjustments and fixes.
• The & will now be shown properly.
Gameplay:
• Spacestations are now using up more resources.
• Spaceships can now land critical hits (crits). Those do double the damage. You can level each ship. Crit chances go from 1% - 10% depending on Level of the ship.
• The max Level Cap got raised to 70.
• The attack protection got lowered to 15 level.
• Defence orbiter got their XP doubled.
• The Pirates in At-tll and Borubboni are now stronger then the Pirates in Eicl and Aghotote Ora.
• The first 24 hours after every SSS are now a fight free time. Exception is fight against the Pirates.
• Outlawed players that have been shot down to the starting fleet will have their outlaw status lifted.
• The new Spaceship:The Rocketcarrier! Can be equipped with up to 5 Rocket-Launcher, Engine, Shield and Armor. Fly’s with half the speed with same engine as normal spaceships.
• The new Weapon: Rocketlauncher! Can take up to 19 Rockets (@50.000 Bexx). Launching distance: 100, Cruising range: 200, Atk: 100, Speed: 14, max Flight time 4 minutes. Automatically follows enemy fleet. Explodes near the enemy fleet. The damage will be split onto all fleets from the attacked player within a a range of 20. By splitting up own fleets, one can deflect the enemy rockets. By letting your fleets stand together you can lessen the damage each fleet gets. You cannot outsmart the rockets by creating empty/deleted fleets as they will look for new targets.
Other:
• Our Christmas present to you : From 24.12.2007 to 30.12.2007 will accounts be activated for free Premium.
• A player can‘t have more than 100 mails.
• Upgraded the Anti-Multi Tool (nope, we will not give out anymore info on that )
• Upgraded Log In for the Parsec start page (internal).
• New players will now automatically be invited into the new faction chat channels.
• The WE Server Lusus starts! Always from Friday 6p.m. CET to Saturday 6p.m. CET. The winner gets 1 month free premium!

More and more are the new Allies are growing stronger, excellent. Predators defensive game style hast cost them dearly this SSS and lead the chart with only one space station ahead of the other. They have lost a total of 14 stations. Even Evolution's defensive style costs them this week, having lost 7 stations. Clan Siedler are stable at 14 Stations. die-besten really got it going this SSS and got themself 9 new stations to a total of 13. Muellmann GmbH were busy as well, having now 10 stations they can call their home. Startship Trooper, a new Ally, got themselves straight away 8 space stations and Deadly Defense lost four. Auro is growing and now have 7 space stations, 3 more as last week. River Connection managed themselves one more station as last week and Commonwealth lost three stations. Another new ally, FAiRLiGHT, got themselves three stations at their SSS debut and the TH3 OXYMORONS have lost all stations there had. Resistance is very stable with 2 stations and Helven got now no stations left. Just before the end another new ally, Blood Dragons, got themselves their very first space station, well done. Seeing that this was supposed to be a quieter SSS, more stations have changed hands as on a long time. People have been very busy indeed.

But the balance between Roamer and Earthbounds is not looking good. 30 - 80 for the Earthbounds. Will the Roamer be able to rectify this?

Still only 14 allies are holding all of the space stations, has been constant now lets see how many more allies will be able to get hold of a spacestation. -X- lost its last spacestation now and RiverConnection where able to get them one again. Nice to see RiverConnetion is alive again. Eye witnesses told me that straight away DeadlyDefense got hold of Bogokekek and At-tll which they took from Predator. Over time Predator lost more and more spacestation, with only feeble attempts to gain them back. For that they where heavily fighting with ClanSiedler and also the die-besten. ClanSiedler where able to save 5 out of 6 stations in Huachakei, but only managed to defend 3 in BostloHuggug. Still, not bad considering they got the full onslaught of Predator. DarkLords where the ones that took -X- last spacestation. Evolution was quiet like usual. die-besten went from 6 to 14 stations and Auro went from 3 to 4 stations. TH3 OXYMORONS lost another 2 stations, but the biggest losses had Predator. 17 stations they lost, but as my eye witnesses told me, there where heavily understaffed that day. So well done for not having lost more. Ally in all a quieter Siege this time, wonder how it will be next time ...

Eye witnesses told me that this weekend all hell broke loose. What was hapenning? Clan Siedler left a whole Galaxy to TH3 OXYMORONS and Deadly
Defence. They also started an Attack and got 2 whole Galaxy from the Roamer which left the Predator Wing Predatorian completely without Space Stations.
TH3 OXYMORONS attacked the River Connection and caused them heavy losses and the loss of nearly a whole galaxy. River Connection leave to take another
Galaxy which formerly belonged to The Commenwealth. Die Söldner managed to take in the last second a whole galaxy of the Predator and they in turn
take over a galaxy from the die-besten. worm and Die Drago-Khazov got their first space stations. Evolution kept quiet this SSS and The Nekromongers
broke their NAP with Deadly Defence. The Roamers lost another 4 space stations to the Earthbound. Do we have to slowly worry about the Roamer

Who would have thought! Durin this SSS the Earthbound faction managed to get more spacestations as the Roamer faction. It has been a long time since we have seen this. This SSS, even more so then before, has been extremly exciting up until the very last second. One drama followed another and the chat never stopped once. Nice to see so many new ally having got once again some spacestations. Clan Siedler seem to be on their way up again, die-besten are realy starting to roll now and Deadly Defence got two spacestations they can call their own. But what is with the muellmann ally? Will they ever recover? Will Nekromonger get some of their spacestations back next SSS? ...

You want to know if you got enough fuel to last for the journey? No problem with the new Fuel-Calculator!

In the action window is now next to the flight time also a number-x. This number shows you with what speed your fleet is currently flying. If this number is normal colored, than your fleet flies at its maximum speed and with enough fuel for the whole journey. If this number is red, it means that for this journey you have not got enough fuel and the speed got slowed down to incorperate that. It could also mean that one of your spaceships hasn't got an engine at all. So when this number-x is red, best check your fleet.

You see it in the attack window, shown as a diagramm. The yellow vertical line is the oponent. The white horizontal line is the
distance to your oponent from 0 to max weapon reach and the white vertical line shows your attack strength.

So when the yellow line crosses the highest white line you attack with maximum effectiveness.
