Parsec - Parsec first steps

Parsec first steps

General:

* Parsec was optimized for the FF ad IE7 browser. Please always try to have the newest versions of these browsers.
* To play Parsec, you have to have JavaScript activated in your browser. Neither Java nor Flash are necessary.
* Get acquainted with the UI.
* Open the channels Parsec_Ateu and Parsec_Help in the Parsec chat. Questions are answered here.
* Open the technology window and set resource mining, radar technology and espionage technology to increase. Don't forget to save.
* For the first 7 days, all Premium features are activated with the exception of the advertising block.
* You can move all windows in Parsec. Many of the windows can also be changed in size by pulling with the mouse pointer on the bottom right of the window.

The Beginning:

* Select "Fleet 1"
* Scroll down and select Ship
* Click on the image of the ship
* Upgrade Cargo bay 1
Click on the arrow to the right of the fleet and then click on the chart on System
* Click on the space station in the window and always leave the space station window open. If necessary, move it to the side so it doesn't get in the way.
* Find planets with resources by clicking on the planet and then looking at the resources which are displayed on the top right
* Click on Travel on the bottom right.
* Wait until the fleet arrives (when the moving white arrow behind the fleet name disappears).
* Limit the mining to the most valuable raw materials (click on all the others once).
* Click on the white hammer.
* Wait until the white hammer near the fleet name disappears
* Fly to the next station of your own faction (green = Earthbound, purple = Roamers)
* Sell the raw materials: just click on the space station and the menu will open.
* If necessary, expand the cargo bay again (more raw materials = more Bexx)
* Repeat these steps, upgrade the cargo bay and weapons in between, buy more space ships, explore new systems, enjoy the game, etc.

The Parsec Universe:

* Click on the arrow to the right of the fleet.
* First you will see the whole universe, if not, then click on Universe above
* Just click on one of the galaxies to see it in detail.
* Every bright point in the galaxy is a solar system. Click on one of these points to see it in detail.
Systems with either green or purple rotating icons are systems with space stations.
* Space stations from your own faction are security zones. You cannot be attacked here.
* Every planet can be clicked on. Once you have found a planet where you want to go, click on Travel on the bottom right and you will fly there.
